Jakarta, June 12, 2023 – The Ministry of Trade will once again present the Primaniyarta awards to exporters and parties supporting export development for 2023. These awards will be presented to the recipients at the opening of the 38th Trade Expo Indonesia, scheduled to take place on October 18, 2023, in Tangerang, Banten.
Director General of National Export Development, Didi Sumedi, stated that Primaniyarta is the highest form of appreciation from the Indonesian Government to exporters and regional heads who support the development of exports in their regions. “Primaniyarta aims to motivate the business community in increasing Indonesia’s non-oil and gas exports and to promote Indonesian companies and export products,” said Didi.
In 2023, Primaniyarta is divided into seven main categories and two special categories. The main categories are new market development exporters, service exporters, digital product exporters, sustainable product exporters, innovative product exporters, manufacturing industry product exporters, and halal and Muslim fashion product exporters. The special categories are beginner exporters and regional heads supporting exports.
Registration for the 2023 Primaniyarta awards began in March 2023 and will close on June 30, 2023. Subsequently, registered participants will enter the judging phase from July to September 2023.
Director of Market Development and Export Information, Marolop Nainggolan, encourages exporters and regional heads to register promptly. “We invite and remind exporters and regional heads to register before the deadline at the end of this June,” said Marolop.
Previously, the 2022 Primaniyarta awards were given to 12 selected exporters who continued to increase their export value during the pandemic and became pioneers in new markets for Indonesia. The 2022 Primaniyarta awards were presented at the opening of TEI 2022 on October 19, 2022, witnessed by President Joko Widodo.
